SIG-09 will host six keynote talks by the community's most distinguished researchers. The talks will be on the fundamental vision problems that can be jointly addressed by a grammar, and mathematical theories that can be unified and exploited by a grammar to address vision problems. The speakers' diverse backgrounds and research interests will ensure a high degree of depth and breadth in the treatment of these topics.
Keynote Speakers:
- Narendra Ahuja (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
- Sven Dickinson (University of Toronto)
- Stuart Geman (Brown University)
- Ales Leonardis (University of Ljubljana)
- David Mumford (Brown University)
- Alan Yuille (University of California, Los Angeles)
